Abstract

In an increasingly interconnected world defined by competing ideologies, rapid media cycles, and global crises, the power to influence through narrative has become as critical as the ability to act. Governments, corporations, and social movements alike recognize that what is said, how it is said, and the story it tells can determine the success or failure of strategic goals. This is where strategic communication emerges—not as a mere dissemination of facts, but as a purposeful orchestration of messages designed to resonate with specific audiences. At the heart of strategic communication lies narrativization, a process of transforming fragmented events, ideas, or data into structured, meaningful, and emotionally engaging stories. These narratives are not mere tools of persuasion, but mechanisms through which identity is formed, loyalty is fostered, and legitimacy is contested or affirmed. This article explores the theoretical and practical significance of narrativization within the strategic communication process. The article argues that strategic narratives are essential instruments of influence and power in both domestic and international arenas.
