The present study aimed to determine the impact of self Esteem on Psychological Well-being among Single adults in Pakistan. The current study was comprised of total participants N= 175 out of which n=114 were females and n=61 were males, who aged between 20 – 35 years (M=24.68, S.D= 3.059). The convenient sampling technique has been used to collect the sample. The tools have been used in this study are as following, Index of Self Esteem Scale (SES) (Rosenberg, M, 1965) and Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) ((Fishwik, et.al, 2007) for Self-esteem and psychological well-being respectively. It was hypothesized that there would be significant relationship between Self-Esteem and Psychological Well-being among single adults and age would have negative correlation with Self-Esteem. There would also be gender differences in self-esteem and psychological well-being. The findings of current study revealed that there is positive but moderate relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being, whereas second hypothesis of this study was rejected and findings has revealed that age is positively correlated with self-esteem but relationship has been found weak. Findings has also revealed that there is gender differences between self-esteem and psychological well-being. Females have scored low on self-esteem and psychological well-being comparatively to males. Since, females perceive more societal pressure and stress because of not getting married on prime and right age. However, males have different perspective regarding marriage and they focus more on career establishment till this age. Current study has implications in clinical settings and in personal growth along with subjective well-being.
