Abstract

The implementation of job rotation enables businesses to effectively address changing client demands and fulfill diverse human resource objectives. For a considerable duration, individuals have acknowledged the advantages that job rotation can offer to an enterprise in relation to personnel growth, general job satisfaction, and the efficiency of collaborative efforts. The term "job rotation" refers to the practice of relocating employees across multiple departments. The onset of the Industrial Revolution facilitated the acceleration of this procedure, resulting in enhanced efficiency overall. Scholars in the field of management sciences emphasize the importance of reconsidering job duties, improving manufacturing processes, and establishing the optimal organizational framework. The objective of this research was to examine the potential correlation between job switching and enhanced employee development, as well as heightened organizational efficiency. The results corroborated the hypotheses, indicating that the implementation of job rotation can yield advantageous outcomes for a firm's productivity and its employees' development. The data was obtained through the utilization of a pre-established questionnaire, wherein the participants' answers were predetermined. The study received responses from 302 employees of the National Bank of Pakistan. The hypotheses were assessed utilizing the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and the results indicated that they were supported. The statistical software package SPSS was utilized to conduct data analysis and to evaluate the hypotheses. The analysis of the outcomes offered additional corroboration for the proposed conjectures.
