This study explores the role of higher education in enhancing women’s self-esteem and self-confidence using a quantitative research design. Data were collected from the university students through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, with participants selected randomly from the selected departments. The data were analysed using SPSS with descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that higher education has a significant positive impact on women’s self-image, self-worth, decision-making ability, and overall confidence. Most respondents reported improved self-esteem, stronger identity, and greater confidence in academic and professional settings. The study concludes that higher education is a key factor in empowering women and promoting their personal and social development.
