IMPACTS OF MICROFINANCE LOANS ON THE LIFE OF ACTIVE BORROWERS: A CASE STUDY OF LARKANA DISTRICT

The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of microfinance on the life of active borrowers in Larkana district. A sample of two hundred and eighteen participants was selected from Khushali Bank, Microfinance Bank and Sindh Rural Support Organization. Likert scale questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents. Results showed a positive impact of microfinance activities on the life of active borrowers. The respondents agreed that they had increased their income, savings and improved living standards. The regression model of the study was significant with 0.000 level and t adjusted r2 remained 0.48 which showed variation in the model.
