The population of the study consisted of 436 male teachers who were teaching in District Charsadda of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. A sample of 210 teachers was selected through random cluster sampling technique as a sample for the study. The Teacher Attitude Index (TAI) Scale, developed by Schulte et al. (2005), was used for the collection of data. The average performance of the teachers in their subject area was calculated from the students' achievement scores in the Secondary School Annual Examination 2017 conducted by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar, KP. The data analysis showed that majority of the teachers had positive attitudes towards their profession. Further, It was revealed that teachers’ attitude towards profession had a strong significant and positive relationship with students’ academic achievement. It was recommended that government may take initiative to boast the teaching profession. In this regard the print media and social media should play the major role.
